Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning improves the skin's appearance by removing the outer layers through a method of controlled scraping of the skin with a Teflon-coated instrument. The procedure removes layers of dead skin and fine vellus hair. Dermaplaning softens surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother, younger appearance. The process generally takes about 30 minutes and causes no redness irritation. In most cases, it can also be combined with a chemical peel for a more dramatic result.
